Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for Construction Quality Assurance to oversee inspection, testing, and compliance on complex construction projects.

Lead inspectors and coordinate with contractors, design professionals, owners, and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to contract documents and CQA plans. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5+ years in project management, and strong skills in reporting, documentation, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil/Construction Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Proven proficiency and experience in earthwork quality control, construction, inspection, or testing.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project management.
• Expertise in International Building Code (IBC), ASTM, ACI, DOT, and applicable municipal standards.
• Broad knowledge of construction processes, including earthwork, concrete, asphalt, masonry, structural steel, and foundations.
• Strong technical report writing and documentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Ability to travel for site visits, manage multiple sites, and make critical decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Master and apply industry standards, codes, and inspection protocols to ensure quality compliance.
• Analyze testing results, reports, and project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain high attention to detail and precision in all inspections, reporting, and corrective actions.
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address complex quality issues proactively.
• Plan, organize, and oversee quality assurance operations across multiple projects to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and manufacturer quality control documentation and test results.
• Ensure that daily project schedules, budgets, and quality requirements align and are met.
• Integrate quality assurance into project planning phases to minimize risk and enhance outcomes.
• Communicate project progression and quality assurance adherence to the client and project teams.
• Supervise, mentor, and train inspection teams to uphold BLE’s quality standards.
