Job summary

BL Harbert International seeks a Quality Control Manager to oversee daily QC activities on BLHI projects, ensuring work adheres to established standards through thorough documentation and inspections.

You will coordinate with project managers, superintendents and external parties, maintain logs, review shop drawings, and prepare daily QC reports, while leading weekly QC meetings to resolve non-conformances and protect project quality.

Qualifications

• 5 years construction industry experience.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project quality control reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes.
• Provide written daily QC reports confirming conformance and address non-conformances.
• Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to establish standards of care for each feature of work.
• Verify materials meet submittal approvals and are stored and handled properly.
• Schedule and log all required inspections and document non-conformances until resolved.
• Conduct periodic follow-up inspections to ensure progress aligns with contract documents.
