Job summary

BL Harbert International is seeking quality control personnel to manage submittal logs, perform conformance reviews, and lead weekly QC meetings with the superintendent.

The role includes daily QC reporting, verification of materials against approved submittals, and ensuring checklists are completed before major items such as concrete and steel are placed. A focus on safety and compliance with project standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and all other project specific quality control reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and by leveraging the knowledge of others on the project team.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide written minutes as described in contract documents.
• Provide written daily QC reports that reinforce conforming work and address non-conformances to achieve timely outcomes.
• Conduct preparatory, initial and follow-up meetings to define standards of care and verify checklists are signed off prior to concrete, steel and other work.
