Job summary

BLHI is seeking a Quality Control Manager responsible for daily QC tasks on designated projects, ensuring construction adheres to established standards and coordinating with project managers, superintendents, and external personnel to deliver a quality product.

You will lead documentation, review shop drawings, chair QC meetings, and maintain inspection records while ensuring proper handling of materials and timely resolution of non-conformances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction industry experience.
• Experience reviewing submittals and shop drawings for conformance.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and maintain the project submittal log and quality control reports.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance with project specifications.
• Chair and document weekly QC meetings with the superintendent and provide minutes.
• Provide daily QC reports and address non-conformances promptly.
• Verify materials meet submittal approvals and are suitable for use.
• Schedule and document code and independent inspections and re-inspect non-conformances.
