Job summary

Clayton is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator in Morristown, TN to guide quality across production, ensure compliance with codes and company policies, and act as liaison with different teams.

You will analyze issues, monitor documents, train staff, and drive continuous improvements, with focus on HUD/ECRs and DAPIA processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/engineering drawings and specs.
• Proactive approach to quality and compliance.
• Knowledge of facility machinery and equipment is desirable.
• Strong communication with all team members at all levels.
• Understanding of construction trades, codes, and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Identify service issues within the facility.
• Analyze root causes of service issues.
• Recommend improvements to prevent recurrence.
• Maintain master copies of documents including supplier data and audits.
• Distribute materials with explanations of changes.
• Maintain the online DAPIA system.
• Initiate ECRs for design or floor plan changes.
• Follow up paperwork to ensure changes align with drawings.
• Perform systematic line inspections in a 15-day rotation.
• Escort IPIA inspections through the plant.
• Provide QA training with team members as needed.
• Update QA administration databases for training.
• Maintain testing certifications.
• Report QA findings and keep leadership informed.
• Other duties as assigned.
