Job summary

Clayton Homes (New) seeks a Quality Assurance Coordinator to ensure consistent product quality from incoming materials through final production. You will document findings, inspect items, and collaborate with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams, applying Oracle ERP for traceability.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in quality assurance in manufacturing, especially wood assemblies, and strong attention to detail and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, quality, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting, ideally with wood assemblies.
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP system for material tracking, receiving, and quality documentation.
• Familiarity with wood properties, woodworking techniques, and cabinetry construction standards.
• Skilled in using inspection tools such as tape measures, calipers, gauges, and moisture meters.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work well in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and substrates to verify conformance with standards.
• Record and track inspection data using Oracle ERP and maintain documentation.
• Perform in-process and final inspections for dimensional accuracy and finish quality.
• Identify non-conformances and work with teams on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing staff on material issues.
• Maintain quality records and inspection logs for traceability.
• Assist with root cause analysis to reduce scrap and rework.
• Support training for production staff on quality standards.
