Clayton Manufacturing is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator in Nashville to act as a liaison through production, ensuring compliance with codes, policies, and product quality. You will manage documents, perform inspections, and drive corrective actions to prevent issues.

The role requires strong reading of drawings, proactivity in QA, and solid communication across teams. Construction industry experience is preferred, with full-time benefits described.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Construction/Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Proactive approach to quality assurance.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify service issues within the facility.
• Analyze root causes of service issues.
• Recommend improvements or corrective actions to prevent future service issues.
• Maintain master copies of documents (supplier data, audits, DAPIA, ECRs).
• Distribute materials with clear explanations of changes.
• Maintain the online DAPIA system.
• Initiate ECRs for changes to DAPIA designs or floor plans.
• Follow up on document distributions to ensure changes are implemented.
• Perform line inspections on a 15-day rotation, including testing equipment observations.
• Conduct follow-up inspections for yard work and re-testing.
• Update QA Administration – FTC Database regularly.
• Escort the IPIA during inspections.
• Assist with HUD 302, Alternate Construction, and Energy Star reports.
• Provide QA and DAPIA training to team members.
• Maintain QA information boards.
• Maintain required testing certifications.
• Report all QA findings and complete CEFs as necessary.
• Keep leadership informed of problem areas and recurring issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
