Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or related field) with 2–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with civil estimating and contracting for a civil general contractor or subcontractor.
• IDIQ contracting experience is preferred.
• Experience managing subcontractors and self-performed construction activities.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely on active construction sites.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets, email, and construction management software.
• Knowledge of commercial construction methods and site work.

Responsibilities

• Support or manage commercial and civil construction projects from start to finish.
• Maintain project documentation (RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, change orders, quality records, safety documentation, closeout).
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and project schedules.
• Assist with estimating, quantity takeoffs, and proposals using digitizers, 3D modeling software, and traditional takeoff methods.
• Develop and maintain project schedules using construction scheduling software.
• Review drawings, coordinate layouts, and support CADD-based reviews.
• Assist with contract administration.
• Utilize project management software (Project Center, USACE QCS/RMS, Prolog).
• Identify project risks and help resolve issues.
• Support compliance with contract requirements, safety standards, quality expectations.
• Participate in closeout, constructability reviews, value engineering, and continuous improvement.
• Attend project meetings and training opportunities.
