Job summary

Webcor is seeking a Project Manager to lead safety, day-to-day execution, and coordination of subcontractors on our Los Angeles projects. You will ensure the work is completed on time and within budget while upholding Webcor’s quality standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), about eight years of complex construction management experience, and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Eight years’ experience managing complex construction projects.
• OSHA 10 certification required (OSHA 30 preferred). LEED AP and/or GA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety on job site and enforces Webcor’s safety policy and procedures.
• Analyze project buyout, savings, and contingencies; schedule procurements and ensure milestones.
• Negotiate, analyze, and prepare subcontracts, purchase orders, and cost control budgets.
• Oversee document control of RFIs, change orders, correspondence, permits, drawings, specs, and reports.
• Manage subcontractors, sequencing, procurement, change management, and scope delineation with the Superintendent team.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; provide timely feedback and promote team morale.
• Review and manage owner, subcontractor, and vendor billing processes.
• Identify and escalate project issues and drive resolution with clients and subcontractors.
• Manage project start-up and close-out processes.
• Control budget and negotiate pricing; manage delay log with the team.
• May engage in client management activities as required.
