Job summary

Abbott Construction is seeking a Project Manager to estimate and manage projects from concept to closeout. You will run multiple projects, interfacing with owners, architects, and engineers to ensure on-time completion and profitability.

The role emphasizes safety, clear communication, and rigorous cost control across healthcare and fast-paced construction projects in the Seattle area.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and leadership skills required.
• Understanding of accounting, financial statements, job cost and cash flow.
• Experience creating MS Project schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload of project engineers.
• Primary interface with owner and architect.
• Maintain a high level of safety.
• Work with the Superintendent to enhance project margins.
• Ensure projects are completed on or before the contract completion date.
• Ensure that projects are built per plans and specs approved by owner/architect/engineers/managers.
• Ensure accounts receivable are current and projects are billed accordingly.
• Provide job cost/margin forecasts.
• Maintain RFI, COP and submittal logs.
• Close out project within 30 days of completion.
• Provide all pertinent information to the construction team.
