Abbott Construction seeks a Project Engineer in Olympia, WA to support the Project Manager and Superintendent across all project phases. You will manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, planning, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors.

The role emphasizes safety, process adherence, and ownership. Requires 2+ years of project engineering and a 4-year construction degree; healthcare construction experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a drug test.
• 2+ years of project engineering experience.
• 4-year degree in a construction-related major.
• Healthcare construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittal process and ensure timely approvals.
• Coordinate RFIs and change order proposals with PM/Supt.
• Support planning, scheduling and coordination to meet deadlines.
• Assist estimating by soliciting subcontractors and distributing plans.
• Serve as main contact for subcontractors and assist PM when needed.
