Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Project Manager I for Store Development in the Food Lion network. You will oversee new store builds, expansions, and remodels from pre-construction through close-out, coordinating budgets, schedules, and compliance across multiple sites.

The role requires 80% travel (Mon-Thu) with a remote office day on Fridays and residency in NC/SC/VA. You will partner with Purchasing, Real Estate, and Operations to ensure timely openings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management and scheduling skills.
• Experience coordinating GC's, CM's, subs, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Manage bidding and awarding with GC's, CM's, and subs for Food Lion projects.
• Oversee contracts, purchase orders, and payment processing for contracted work.
• Direct project meetings and monitor progress against milestones.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met across all sites.
