Job summary

Kraus-Anderson is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to plan, direct, and coordinate designated projects from start to finish. You will lead Superintendents and Project Coordinators, manage scheduling, staffing, and budgets, and ensure successful delivery.

Applicants should have a 4-year degree in Construction Management or related field, experience with ViewPoint, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 25-75% is required as projects span multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Reviews proposals, plans, and specs to determine time frame, funding, and resource needs.
• Establishes work plans, schedules, and staffing for each phase.
• Reads and understands drawings and specifications.
• Builds a network of business associates and subcontractors.
• Coordinates activities to ensure progress within budget and provides technical advice.
• Negotiates with owners and subcontractors to maintain efficient projects.
• Works with billing and finance for smooth project processes.
• Prepares project reports and reviews status reports to adjust plans.
• Interfaces with regulatory agencies and project partners.
• Supervises project staff and coordinates subcontractors.
• Maintains relationships with owners and partners.
• Assists safety with corporate policies and procedures.
