JE Dunn Construction Company is seeking a Project Manager 1 - Mission Critical in Nashville, TN. The role directs project operation from preconstruction through closeout, building strong client and team relationships while aligning with JE Dunn’s strategy and values.

The PM leads safety culture, manages submittals, buyouts, and schedule control, coordinates with design teams and subcontractors, and drives profitability and on‑time delivery of mission‑critical projects in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field.
• Equivalent relevant experience will be considered in lieu of the above requirements.
• 5+ years construction management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads all aspects of the company’s safety culture and creates awareness by demonstrating commitment to an injury‑free environment.
• Manages the prestart process and supports the preconstruction team including quantity takeoff, trade coordination and scope development.
• Leads buyout schedule implementation, verifies pricing and scope, and manages subcontractor procurement.
• Coordinates submittal schedule, reviews shop drawings and samples, and ensures timely submittals to engineers.
• Provides regular project reporting, analyzes profitability, and supports budget development and control.
• Leads monthly project reviews, progress meetings and Owner-Architect meetings.
• Oversees the monthly subcontractor and owner pay application process.
• Develops and updates the project schedule and manages resources to meet deadlines.
