Job summary

Spear D Construction in Albuquerque, NM seeks an experienced Project Manager to oversee construction projects from start to finish. You will manage schedules, budgets, submittals, and field coordination to deliver quality results.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and construction software such as Viewpoint and Hard Dollar is preferred; 3+ years of PM experience required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction project management.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and codes.
• Experience with contract review and subcontract writing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with Viewpoint and Hard Dollar is preferred.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Oversee submittals, RFIs, contracts, and subcontract agreements.
• Prepare and manage pay applications, billings, and change orders.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and clients.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication across stakeholders.
• Ensure on-time, on-budget delivery meeting quality standards.
• Maintain project documentation including logs and reports.
• Lead project meetings including pre-construction, scheduling, progress updates.
• Ensure all closeout documentation (as-builts, test reports) are completed.
