Job Description

To assist the Project Manager, Superintendent, and Coordinator in all aspects of the job daily while supporting the crews as needed and on emergency jobs. You will work with Project Managers within Spear D’s Construction Department and will learn a variety of disciplines, including plant, public, private, and on-call work.

Job Requirements

• Prepare/Submit and notify PM and superintendent on Change Orders and Cost Proposals.
• Per direction of PM/superintendent, prepare, submit, and disseminate resolutions for RFI’s (requests for information).
• Capture, document, and record quantities of materials, equipment, and labor from the field.
• Do quantity entry into View Point weekly.
• Work with the project coordinator to submit, acquire, and maintain all permits, submittals, and/or other necessary forms and paperwork requirements to conduct needed work activities.
• Initiate and ensure NM811 tickets are submitted and kept current.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• C onstruction Management, Civil Engineering, or Master of Business Administration preferred
• Must be able to obtain and comply with DOE site badging requirements
• PMP Certification is a plus but not required

$80,000-$95,000

*Average base salary depends on experience; does not include overtime or bonuses. *
