Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking a Project Manager for our Phoenix, AZ Division to lead commercial construction projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate with owners, architects, and field teams to deliver projects on time and within budget, while maintaining safety standards and high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities include managing bids, budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance; ensuring all contractual terms are met; and driving collaboration across project teams

Qualifications

• BS in construction management, science, engineering, or related field.
• 6+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project management software.
• Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.

Responsibilities

• Oversees a construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases of the project.
• Collaborates with owners and architects during plan development and budget estimation.
• Supports startup activities, site security, temporary power, and material placement with the superintendent.
• Reviews subcontractor bids, ensures bonds and insurance are in place, and resolves contract issues.
• Ensures contract terms and specs are followed; inspects work and maintains quality standards.
• Approves subcontractor work for payment and manages invoices and retainage.
