Job summary

Austin Commercial in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a major commercial construction project from planning through turnover. You will supervise a large project staff of employee-owners and coordinate with owners, architects, and the scheduling team to keep the project on track and within budget.

Qualifications

BS in construction management, engineering, or related field.
10+ years of commercial construction project management experience.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training (may obtain within first year)

Responsibilities

Oversees a major construction project by planning, scheduling and coordinating all phases.
Manages a large project staff of employee-owners and divides duties between PMs and superintendents.
Develops preconstruction input, budgets and price proposals; supports bid and subcontracting processes.
Ensures compliance with contract terms, quality standards and safety requirements.
Generates cost reports, schedules and progress updates for management review.
Prepares monthly pay requests and tracks payment cycles with owners and architects.
Develops and maintains master construction schedules and analyzes change orders.
Oversees site safety, logistics, labor reports and subcontractor management.
Leads career development and mentoring for project staff.
