Job summary

Austin Commercial in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior MEP Manager to lead coordination of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems on a multi-billion dollar project.

You will supervise subcontractors, ensure code compliance, manage schedules and budgets, and collaborate with owners and design teams. This ESOP-owned firm offers strong safety culture and opportunities to advance within a growing portfolio.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of commercial construction project management and MEP experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year).
• Proficient in project manager software.
• Proficient with cost projection, scheduling, financial analysis, budget reviews and labor reports.
• Ability to build and manage multiple high performing teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates complexity of mechanical/electrical design and estimates construction costs.
• Serves as a technical resource in meetings with owners and architects.
• Attends weekly meetings with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Ensures subcontractors submit all MEP shop drawings on time and complete.
• Coordinates MEP scope and shop drawings between subs.
• QA/QC of mechanical systems and on-site inspections.
