Job summary

Boyd Jones Construction seeks a Project Manager to lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality are aligned.

You will own cost control, forecasting, and reporting while upholding high standards in subcontractor management and risk mitigation; teamwork and data-driven decisions are essential to protect project and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least five years of commercial construction project management experience.
• Strong scheduling, cost control, procurement, and documentation skills.
• Experience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software (P6 or MS Project).
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field, or equivalent experience.

What You'll Be Accountable For

• Delivering Projects Right — The First Time. You will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, and quality are aligned and executed with precision.


• Managing Financial Performance. You will own cost control, forecasting, change management, and reporting.


• Holding the Standard With Subcontractors. You will set clear expectations, enforce commitments and follow through, address challenges constructively, and maintain strong, professional working relationships.


• Managing Risk Before It Becomes a Problem. You will make and advocate for decisions that are based on data, not assumptions, maintaining a high standard of quality and escalating concerns early in the process to protect the project and the client.
