Talently in Milwaukee, WI is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up and complex commercial projects on-site. You will manage teams, coordinate owners, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers, and ensure successful delivery from bidding through closeout.

Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience across all phases of construction and preconstruction management.
  • Experience managing commercial, ground-up, healthcare, retail or hospitality projects.
  • Ability to lead project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of contracts, scheduling, estimating, change management, and project controls.
  • Advanced problem-solving, conflict-resolution, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong understanding of jobsite safety, quality standards, local ordinances, and industry requirements.
  • Committed team player with a strong focus on client satisfaction and professional representation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple construction projects through all phases, from bidding and preconstruction through closeout.
  • Lead project teams including superintendents, architects, project coordinators, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, architects, consultants, and community partners.
  • Evaluate bids, pricing, schedules, conceptual estimates, and schematic-level estimates.
  • Negotiate subcontracts and manage owner contracts, including negotiations and documentation.
  • Build, update, troubleshoot, and manage project schedules to maintain progress and performance.
  • Lead progress meetings, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, potential change orders, and change order generation.
  • Oversee safety, quality control, billing, cost management, profitability, issue resolution, and project documentation.

  • Familiarity with construction scheduling, cost-tracking, and project management software.
  • Established relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers.
