Job summary

gpac is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee projects from preconstruction to completion in the Cleveland area. The role focuses on delivering safe, on-time, within-budget projects of high quality across a diverse commercial portfolio.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience, strong knowledge of plans and scheduling, and excellent communication and leadership abilities to manage multiple projects and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial construction projects from contract award through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets and execution plans.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, vendors and internal teams.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts and project documents.
• Manage budgets, cost tracking, forecasting and change orders.
• Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, pay applications, change orders and project documentation.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, schedules, quality and compliance.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting cost, schedule or quality.
• Work with Superintendents and field teams to ensure project execution.
• Maintain strong client and subcontractor relationships.
• Assist with preconstruction, estimating, bidding and business development as needed.
• Manage project closeout and ensure all contractual requirements are completed.

This position will oversee projects from preconstruction through completion while ensuring they are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred but not required.
