Job summary

Crossland Construction Company Inc. is hiring for a on-site Construction Project Manager in Texas to lead daily activities on a major project.

You will manage scheduling, cost accounting, safety, and contract administration while coordinating with owners and architects to keep the project on track. The role requires strong leadership, a focus on quality, and the ability to drive master plans and schedules from project kickoff through completion.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects from start to finish.
• Ability to develop a Master Project Schedule updated monthly.
• Experience with project cost accounting and bill coding.
• Contract administration knowledge incl. RFIs and change orders.
• Ability to coordinate with owners, architects and subcontractors.
• Commitment to safety management on site.
• Ensuring work meets quality standards per plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversees construction projects from start to finish using the Crossland pre-planning guide and develops a Master Project Schedule updated monthly and shared with subs, owners, architects and field staff.
• Develops a Master Variance for accounting and ensures all subcontractor, supplier, equipment and labor bills are coded.
• Manages all contracts, pay requests, change orders, RFIs, ASIs with the Owner and Architect; follows up on unpaid invoices.
• Creates and manages all subcontracts and purchase orders per guidelines; ensures documents are completed and signed.
• Checks shop drawings for accuracy and timely delivery per contract schedule to avoid delays.
• Communicates with architects/engineers to prevent delays and reports issues to the Division Manager.
• Ensures work is performed to the quality standards in plans and specifications.
