Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking an on-site Project Manager-Construction in Washington, DC to orchestrate complex projects from inception to completion, aligning schedules, budgets, quality, and stakeholders with client expectations.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review submittals and RFIs, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance. A Bachelor's in a related field is required, with 5+ years of experience and travel about 50% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience managing construction or development projects.
• Proficiency with project management software such as Procore, MS Project, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project execution including scope definition, schedule adherence, budget control, and quality assurance while serving as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate cross-functional project teams including architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, budget tracking systems, and risk registers to identify issues and mitigation strategies.
• Review and process submittals, RFIs, change orders, and payment applications for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure safety and quality standards, and verify regulatory adherence.
• Facilitate project meetings and prepare status reports to provide visibility into project health and risks.
