Job summary

STO Building Group is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent across all project phases. The role oversees submittals, RFIs, change orders, budgeting in Viewpoint, and safety alignment with Abbott's values.

You'll assist planning, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects, while supporting estimating and acting as PM when needed. A 4-year construction degree and 2 years of PE experience are required.

Qualifications

• Strong negotiation and leadership abilities.
• Understanding of accounting, financial statements, job cost and cash flow.

Responsibilities

• Manage submittal, RFI and change order processes.
• Provide research, legwork and data entry support for PM and Supt.
• Complete budget revisions in Viewpoint as required.
• Support safety aligned with company values.
• Coordinate planning, scheduling and project coordination to meet deadlines.
• Support estimating by soliciting subcontractors and distributing plans.
• Main contact for subcontractors as requested by PM.
• Act as Project Manager when PM unavailable.
