Okland Construction is seeking a Project Engineer to support QA/QC, coordination, and project documentation on complex commercial builds in Houston. You will assist with RFIs, submittals, and change orders, while coordinating with subcontractors and the project team to keep drawings, logs, and records up to date.

The role requires LEED awareness, solid scheduling and cost-control skills, and proficiency in CAD, Bluebeam, and MS Office.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3–5 years of related experience on commercial construction projects.
• General knowledge of LEED principles.
• Strong scheduling and cost control skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and CAD software.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

Aufgaben

• Assist with project documentation and administration; maintain records and folders.
• Prepare, review, and track RFIs, submittals, and change orders; update logs.
• Coordinate with superintendent and subcontractors on procurement and drawings.
• Develop meeting agendas and distribute minutes; support project communications.
• Support QA/QC, safety, and project closeout processes; track warranties.
