Job summary

Okland Construction seeks a Project Engineer to support quality assurance, construction administration, and coordination across multiple projects including a new battery facility. You will manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and coordination with subcontractors, ensuring documentation is current and accurate.

Responsibilities include site documentation, meeting minutes, cost tracking, and closeout tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 3–5 years of related experience on commercial construction projects.
• General knowledge of LEED principles.
• Proficient with construction scheduling and cost control.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, contracts, and specs.
• Strong computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and document editing software.

Responsibilities

• Maintain project documentation, drawings, as-builts, and folders.
• Prepare, review, and track RFIs and submittals; manage logs.
• Coordinate with subs, update change orders, and track cost impacts.
• Lead meeting agendas and distribute minutes; support project teams.
• Support QA/QC by verifying installed materials against submittals.
• Assist closeout: close-out documents, punch lists, and warranty walks.
• Support safety/compliance per Okland standards and OSHA guidelines.
