Job summary

DIHO Consulting USA, LLC. seeks an experienced Superintendent / QAQC professional for a commercial construction project in the Houston area.

This hybrid role combines field supervision with quality assurance oversight, requiring strong site experience and a solid grasp of QA/QC standards and documentation. The ideal candidate will coordinate daily site activities, manage subcontractors and vendors, review plans, and maintain comprehensive field records.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar field leadership role.
• Experience performing or supporting QA/QC responsibilities on commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices and field operations.
• Ability to read/interpret construction plans, specs, and docs.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors.
• Comfortable working in active construction-site environments; valid driver's license; ability to travel across Houston area.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily construction activities at assigned sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and project activities.
• Monitor progress and help keep work on schedule.
• Review plans, specifications, and project requirements.
• Conduct routine site walks and monitor workmanship.
• Coordinate with project management and field teams on daily needs.
• Identify field issues and suggest practical solutions.
• Maintain organized daily reports and field documentation.
• Ensure subcontractors comply with project requirements and site expectations.
• Support jobsite safety standards and raise concerns when identified.
• Monitor activity for QA/QC compliance and document quality inspections.
• Track punch-list items and coordinate corrective actions.
• Coordinate required inspections and assist with project closeout documentation.
