Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking a Project Engineer to support the project team by obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing all project information to maintain schedule, budget, and quality. You will work under the Project Manager, contribute to change management, and participate in monthly cost reporting with data-driven insights.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 4+ years with a large trade contractor, with Procore and CMiC

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the change management process under the Project Manager.
• Provide data for monthly cost report meetings.
• Adhere to project controls including cost reporting.
• Expedite material deliveries.
• Review shop drawings for accuracy.
• Coach and mentor less experienced team members.
• Support a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Develop business by matching client needs with Gilbane opportunities.
