Job summary

Gilbane Building seeks a Project Engineer to support project teams by obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing all project information to maintain schedule, budget, and quality.

You’ll work with an experienced team on diverse projects, using Procore and CMiC, with opportunities for growth and training through Gilbane University; candidates must have a related degree and several years of construction experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor, construction management or general contractor organization.
• OSHA 30-hour certification.

Responsibilities

• Manages project information to support schedule, budget, and quality.
• Contributes to monthly cost reports and data points for meetings.
• Adheres to cost control and cost reporting procedures.
• Expedites material deliveries and reviews shop drawings.
• Identifies opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
• Mentors less experienced team members and supports a positive work environment.
• Builds client relationships by understanding needs and differentiating Gilbane’s value.
