Job summary

Gilbane is seeking a Project Engineer to assist the project team by obtaining, evaluating, coordinating, and distributing all related project information and documentation to help maintain the project timeline, budget, and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's in Engineering or Construction Management, have 4+ years with a large trade contractor or GC, and are proficient with Procore and CMiC; OSHA 30 certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management
• 4+ years of experience with a large trade contractor
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Manages the change management process under the Project Manager
• Serves as a key player in monthly cost report meetings with data points
• Adheres to project controls procedures including monthly cost control, pay requests, and cost reporting
• Expedites material deliveries effectively
• Reviews and evaluates shop drawings accurately
• Encourages others to seek innovative problem-solving approaches
• Develops business by identifying client needs and Gilbane opportunities
• Reviews customer feedback and promotes a customer-centric mindset
• Coaches and mentors less experienced team members
• Supports a positive and inclusive work environment
