Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Menlo Park, CA office. This full-time role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in organizing, scheduling, and recording construction activities.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and at least 1 year of field experience, with strong Excel and Procore skills. The position offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $115,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• Minimum 1 year of field or related experience.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction software.
• Familiarity with scheduling/estimating software; Primavera P6 desired.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings and transcribe detailed minutes.
• Inspect construction site daily and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Review designs and drawings for installation of materials.
• Review submittals and shop drawings for contract compliance.
• Process RFIs and track responses.
• Understand change order processes and validation.
• Maintain document control for submittals, RFIs, close-out logs.
• Coordinate submittals between subcontractors.
• Assist in field design changes and 'as built' drawings.
• Support project team with reporting and measurements.
