Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Menlo Park, CA office. The role supports the Project Manager and Superintendent in organizing, scheduling, and recording all activities of construction management.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship. The expected salary range is $112,000 – $145,000 per year, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and lead coordination meetings with subcontractors and design teams.
• Inspect the construction site daily and manage subcontractors per contract documents.
• Document work performed and report findings for status updates and issues.
• Coordinate all submittals between subcontractors and designers.
• Review designs, drawings, and shop drawings for compliance with contract documents.
• Process RFIs, track responses, and follow up as needed.
• Manage Substantial Completion, COs, notices, warranties, and closeout processes.
