Fres-co System USA, Inc. is hiring a Project Engineer in the Los Angeles area to support the project team in overall administration and management of construction activities.

You will coordinate closely with field staff, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure on-site progress and documentation are maintained. The role requires a four-year degree in Construction Management or related field, proficiency with CMiC, PlanGrid and BIM tools, and strong communication and organizational skills to

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools and scheduling concepts.
• Understanding of construction administration processes: drawings, schedules, RFIs, submittals and procurement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with job office setup and CMiC initial setup (Submittal Log Registry, RFI numbering).
• Prepare and maintain Submittal Logs and RFI Logs in CMiC.
• Assist in PlanGrid setup to organize contract documents for field teams.
• Manage progress photo documentation via PlanGrid and ensure timely updates.
• Coordinate with field staff and subcontractors to ensure material deliveries on site.
• Oversee subcontractor submittals and the closeout process (OMs, As-Builts).
• Attend BIM coordination meetings and assist in model development.
• Attend project meetings and distribute meeting minutes.
