Job summary

Related California is seeking a project engineer in Los Angeles to assist in managing the construction process under the direction of the Project Manager. You will participate in trade procurement, maintain all project documents and drawings, and help coordinate RFIs, submittals, and schedules.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, tracking progress, and ensuring safety, quality, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management; relevant experience may substitute for the degree.
• Experience with project management and construction processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Primavera Scheduling and Expedition knowledge is a plus.
• Internship in development or GC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the construction process under Project Manager direction.
• Participate in trade procurement and management.
• Maintain and update all construction project documents and drawings.
• Prepare, review and distribute RFIs; maintain RFI Log.
• Prepare, review and distribute Submittals; maintain Submittal Log.
• Develop and maintain schedules with project Superintendents and Project Managers.
• Manage progress and quality documentation with Superintendent; ensure procedures.
• Review and provide feedback for monthly requisition; assist in project closeout and warranty coordination.
