Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services seeks a Construction Project Engineer for a direct hire role in Phoenix, AZ. You will work closely with the Project Manager, coordinating preconstruction, procurement, and construction activities to keep projects on schedule and within plan.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager throughout preconstruction, procurement, construction, and closeout phases.
• Coordinate with architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, vendors, Superintendents, and field teams to keep project information organized and current.
• Prepare, review, distribute, and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, punch lists, and closeout documentation.
• Assist with bid packages, procurement, bid analysis, buyouts, constructability reviews, permit tracking, and contract documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications, schedules, materials, and project documentation to help identify issues and keep work aligned with plans, codes, and safety requirements.
• Track subcontractor progress, material deliveries, quality control items, and project updates while communicating risks or concerns to the Project Manager or Superintendent.
