Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services in Cary, NC is seeking an experienced Project Manager for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting industrial construction projects with a focus on Life Sciences facilities. You will lead project planning, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, cost controls, safety, quality, and closeout.

You will collaborate with clients, engineers, consultants, contractors, accounting and operations teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, buy-out, subcontractor assignments, scheduling, and day-to-day project coordination.
• Manage project financial performance, including project P&L, weekly actual costs, monthly client billing, and change order documentation.
• Maintain project files and documentation in Procore, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, reports, closeout documents, and required compliance records.
• Support safety, quality assurance, and quality control through regular job site walks, schedule tracking, and coordination with field supervision.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, engineers, subcontractors, professional associations, and regional industry contacts.
• Prepare Davis-Bacon wage reports, LEED reporting, closeout documentation, and lessons learned analysis at project completion.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 to $95,000 per year.
• Job type: Temp-to-Hire.
• Position type: Full-time, non-exempt.
