Job summary

WESTERN REFINERY SERVICES, INC. is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join our team in a collaborative, integrity-driven environment in Idaho. The role supports project documentation, submittals, RFIs, and coordination with vendors and field staff to keep projects on track.

You'll work with PMs and estimators, manage files, communicate professionally, and develop skills in tools like BlueBeam and HeavyJob while maintaining organized plans and drawings.

Qualifications

• Assist Project Manager and Estimator with project documentation and administrative tasks.
• Support the preparation and management of submittals, work plans, RFIs, and quantity take-offs.
• Solicit quotes and coordinate with vendors and subcontractors.
• Track quantities, materials, and labor in coordination with field staff.
• Prepare and organize foreman books, project folders, submittals, and other essential documentation.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, and plans both digitally and physically.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, subcontractors, and team members.
• Write clear, concise, and professional emails, letters, and reports.

Responsibilities

Your Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager and Estimator with project documentation and administrative tasks

• Communicate clearly and professionally with vendors, subcontractors, and team members


• Collect and compile data from the PM and foreman to support RFIs and project tracking


• Write clear, concise, and professional emails, letters, and reports


• Accurately prepare documents in a timely manner under project deadlines


• Demonstrate professional appearance and conduct at all times


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); willingness to learn additional software such as BlueBeam and HeavyJob
