Job summary

City of New York’s Department seeks a Construction Project Manager to coordinate planning, scoping, design and procurement for BBJ design-build projects. You will liaise with community groups, Design-Builders, and the DDC to ensure milestones are met and documentation is maintained.

The role requires working full-time with a strong focus on cost containment, schedule adherence, and quality control. NY-based projects and a driver license are prerequisites.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years of experience managing construction projects or related work.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact among stakeholders for planning, scoping, design and construction phases.
• Evaluate plans, follow schedules, and help keep projects within budget.
