Job summary

The Department of Design and Construction in New York is seeking a Project Executive to oversee Borough-Based Jail Program construction facilities. You will manage aggressive schedules, coordinate with architects, engineers, and CMs, monitor budgets, and ensure milestones are met while liaising with BBJ and City agencies.

Legal work authorization is required; NYC residency not required. The role reports to BBJ senior management and requires strong leadership, risk management, and collaborative

Qualifications

• New York State Registration as an Architect is required.
• Six (6) years of full-time paid architectural experience, at least two (2) years as an administrative architect.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Borough Based Jail Program construction facilities and schedule.
• Manage project milestones and budget with a team of designers and CM’s.
• Coordinate with Design Builder’s architects, engineers, and construction managers.
• Ensure timely delivery of facilities and adherence to contract documents.
• Liaise with BBJ team and city agencies; report to senior management.
