Job summary

The City of New York’s Department of Design and Construction seeks a Sr. Project Executive (Construction) for the Borough Based Jails (BBJ) Division. Qualifications

• Six years of full-time construction management experience on capital projects valued at least $15,000 each.
• At least 18 months in a managerial or consultative capacity.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to coordinate with diverse agencies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction processes for the BBJ capital program across four facilities.
• Supervise BBJ project executives and project managers to ensure on-schedule, on-budget delivery.
• Coordinate with sponsor agencies and City/State agencies to implement design-build best practices and prepare contract documents.
