Job summary

CareerSource Palm Beach County, Inc. is partnering with a full-service construction management firm in West Palm Beach to recruit an experienced Project Coordinator. The role focuses on coordinating multiple projects with Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years in construction coordination, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and project management tools. Local residency is required.

Qualifications

• Must reside in the West Palm Beach metro area.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of construction accounting, job costing, cost codes, and AIA billing (G702/G703).
• Ability to read construction plans, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Experience with Foundation Construction Management Software, Microsoft Project, Asana, or Slack is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preconstruction and ongoing project activities.
• Review construction plans, specifications, and permitting documents.
• Prepare, submit, and track permits and project documentation.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, cost projections, and financial tracking reports.
• Coordinate subcontractor buyouts, change orders, submittals, and project closeouts.
• Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and project status reports.
• Support multiple construction projects, ensuring deadlines, quality standards, and project objectives are met.
