Job summary

Emmerson Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator in Carlsbad, CA, to support the project management team across multiple developments.

The role involves administrative duties, contract preparation, document control, and close collaboration with the Project Manager and field Superintendent to ensure timely, accurate project delivery. You will prepare reports, manage vendor contacts, track submittals and RFIs, and maintain logs and drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of construction industry experience (any trade).
• 2+ years of administrative experience in a related industry.
• Experience inputting and tracking information in an automated system.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fiscal, administrative, and operational reports.
• Liaise with subcontractors and vendors as a key point of contact.
• Prepare and process contracts with appropriate exhibits and packages.
• Create and manage project logs, schedules, and drawings.
• Input contracts, change orders, RFIs, and related reports.
• Maintain organized project folders and filing systems.
• Schedule meetings, agendas, and record meeting minutes.
• Prepare draw and frame walk packages and daily field reports.
• Submit meter applications and maintain related spreadsheets.
