Paseo Construction is seeking a versatile Project Coordinator/Engineer to support construction projects from start to finish. This hybrid role blends design, field operations, and project management, requiring on-site and office work, technical insight, and rigorous documentation.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of coordinating schedules, budgets, submittals, RFIs, and close collaboration with field teams, vendors, and management.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in construction project coordination, engineering, or related fieldwork.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints, project specs, and construction documents.
• Solid communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Experience with Procore and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision.
• No formal degree required—real-world experience and drive matter most.

Responsibilities

• Support field operations and project management with technical and administrative tasks.
• Ensure all construction activities comply with project plans, specs, and quality standards.
• Coordinate and track project schedules, subcontractor timelines, and critical path milestones.
• Monitor budgets, assist with forecasting, and track cost-to-complete reports.
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Assist with field inspections, punch lists, and documentation of progress.
• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, logs, and meeting minutes.
• Provide support during pre-construction planning and closeout processes.
• Serve as a communication hub between field teams, vendors, designers, and management.
