Job summary

Conservation Corps of Long Beach is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support office-based project administration and on-site field work. You will handle budgets, RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing while coordinating crews, materials, and inspections to ensure timely project completion.

Ideal candidates have 1 year in construction coordination, strong communication, and a drive to mentor Corpsmembers. Training provided; hybrid office/field schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred.
• 1 year of experience in construction, landscaping, project coordination, or office administration.
• Willingness to learn construction administration tasks; training provided.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, submit, and track RFIs with designers, clients, and field staff.
• Prepare and track shop drawings, product data, and samples.
• Prepare change order requests with cost backup and track approvals.
• Prepare schedules of values, pay applications, invoices, and track payments.
• Coordinate field crews, materials, equipment, deliveries, and subcontractors.
• Visit job sites regularly; document progress with reports and photos.
