Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on commercial projects in the Richmond, VA area.

The APM will ensure field supervision has materials, equipment, and information needed to complete the scope of work, and will report to the Senior Project Manager and/or Project Manager. The role involves working with subcontractors and suppliers, managing sources, schedules, and documentation, and supporting client communications while promoting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field, or 3 years of related experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
• Ability to learn company-specific software such as Procore and Viewpoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM with permits, proposals, submittals and change orders.
• Review specs and drawings for subcontractor scopes of work.
• Prepare and distribute RFIs and Submittals and logs.
