Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support field operations on commercial construction projects.

The APM works as an extension of the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager to ensure timely access to materials, equipment and information to complete the scope of work. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience (or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Construction Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience, or equivalent combination (construction environment preferred).
• Intermediate to advanced MS Office including Word, Project, Excel, Outlook and PDF editing software (Bluebeam, Adobe).
• Ability to learn Procore and Viewpoint.
• Proven track record working with people, teams and projects.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail and demonstrate problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist SPM/PM in submission and review of permits, proposals, submittals, contracts and change orders.
• Review specs and drawings in preparation of subcontractor scopes of work.
• Prepare and distribute project RFIs and Submittals and maintain logs.
• Manage project materials and equipment purchases including sourcing and vendor relations.
