Job summary

Clayton Homes is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to support the retail team in ensuring timely project completion and superior service. The role covers field construction, permitting, walk-throughs and coordinating service.

The position reports to the Home Center General Manager, with responsibilities including contractor coordination, bill processing, filing, scheduling delivery, and ensuring paperwork is complete. A two-year degree is preferred and strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal communication and customer relations abilities are required.
• Knowledge of construction and ability to learn retail processes.

Responsibilities

• Completes all bill-backs with factories and related paperwork.
• Processes contractor bills.
• Responsible for customer files.
• Assist in obtaining permits.
• Coordinate service calls and paperwork with contractors and customers.
• Manage Home Centers Net Promoter Score (NPS).
• Schedule set-up and delivery and other service-related items with contractors and customers.
• Follow-up with customers via home visits and multiple contact methods.
• Merchandise retail locations and homes; move furniture and décor and clean spaces.
• Assist in audits preparation and coordinate with manager on exceptions.
• Protect company assets and participate in sales meetings and events.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate with others.
