Job summary

CTL Engineering in New Albany, OH is seeking a Construction Project Coordinator to provide administrative, technical, and project support to Project Managers and Construction Administrators throughout the life cycle of construction projects.

You will coordinate documentation, scheduling, contract administration, and stakeholder interactions while tracking budgets, schedules, submittals, RFIs, and pay applications; travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of construction, engineering, utility, or project administration experience preferred.
• Recent graduates with internship experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of construction practices, project scheduling, and contract administration is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and Project.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers in managing construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Coordinate communication among owners, contractors, consultants, utility companies, and regulatory agencies.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes, and project correspondence.
• Track project schedules, milestones, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and pay applications.
• Maintain organized project files, records, and documentation in accordance with company and client requirements.
• Review contractor submittals and project documentation for completeness and compliance.
• Assist with construction contract administration and document control.
• Monitor project budgets, invoices, and funding allocations.
• Coordinate field inspections and construction observations as needed.
• Prepare progress reports and update project management systems.
• Track utility coordination, permit requirements, and agency approvals.
• Assist with project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranty documentation, and final record keeping.
• Support public meetings, stakeholder outreach, and client communications when required.
