Job summary

GH Phipps Construction Companies seeks a proactive project coordinator to support planning, scheduling, and coordination across owner, design teams, and subcontractors. You will manage document control, RFIs, and submittals, while assisting with close-out activities and site documentation.

The role emphasizes adherence to project requirements, QA/QC programs, and safety planning. A technical background in construction management helps in coordinating multi-discipline teams on complex projects.

Qualifications

  • 3 months construction internship experience preferred.
  • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with owner, design team, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams.
  • Participate in project planning, scheduling, and coordination efforts.
  • Lead RFI and submittal processes, including schedule distribution and document control.
  • Support project close-out activities, including punch lists, O&M manual development, and as-built docs.
  • Assist in prep for OAC meetings and ongoing project meetings.
